The Sherman Firefly was a British adaptation of the M4 Sherman, armed with the powerful 17-pounder gun to take on German Tigers and Panthers during World War II. Recognisable by its longer barrel, crews often camouflaged the gun to appear like a standard Sherman, giving them a tactical edge in battle.
