The new HSV GTSR range isn't just an Australian muscle car milestone, it's the ultimate expression of Australian high-performance. With only a fortunate few or us ever able to get behind the wheel of (or even afford!) one of these ultra-exclusive machines, you can at least get the thrill of owning one of these perfect HSV replicas.
Taking the already high-performance GTSR to the next level ' the Australian superpower W1 brings never before seen true race-track performance to the road. Externally, the W1 comes with carbon fibre fender vents and Aeroflow Performance rear spoiler, painted-out side-skirts and massive 20-inch forged alloy wheels in Matte Black with Pirelli P Zero track tyres and distinctive W1 badging that lets the world know what inside can be unleashed. Under the hood is the pinnacle of 30 years of HSV engineering ' a hand-built, 6.2 litre, supercharged LS9 Gen IV alloy V8! This fire-breathing powerplant produces a mind-blowing 474kW of power and 815Nm or torque and simply put ' the GTSR W1 is as close to a Supercar as it gets and is HSV's road-legal race-car.
Additionally, the models will have numerous features including, faithfully replicated Alcantara trimmed interior, W1 sill plates, unique red AP Racing 6-piston forged performance brakes. Turn the model over and we have even replicated the genuine dry sump oiling system as well as photo etched parts, beautifully presented detailing and outstanding finishing all round.
It's an exceptional model of a car that will one day be considered an absolute classic and one for the history books.
