Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Lightning II is a 5th Generation fighter with three main variants including the F-35C, which as a carrier aircraft has larger wings and horizontal stabilizers than other types as well as folding wing tips. It is also recognizable by its launch bar for catapult launches, the arresting hook, and its landing gear reinforced to withstand punishing carrier take-offs and landings. The F-35C looks set to be a core presence in the air arms of the American navy and marines for many years to come

About the Model
This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit. Fuselage length: 218mm, wingspan: 182mm. The low observability form of the F-35C is artfully captured in 1/72 scale, with delicate recreations of raised RAM (Radar Absorbent Material) sections. Choose whether to assemble the model with folded or extended wingtips. Reinforced landing gear struts are recreated. Assemble with canopy open or closed. Two AIM-9X air-to-air missiles are included. Comes with a pilot figure. 6 marking options included.
