The Porsche 906 Carrera 6 was a lightweight mid-engine race car introduced for endurance racing. It made a strong showing at the 1966 24 Hours of Daytona by winning its class and finishing sixth overall. Porsche built only 65 cars, enough to meet FIA racing rules that required at least 50 production models.

The 906 first appeared in the video game Forza Motorsport 7. The Forza series began in 2005 with Forza Motorsport and later expanded into two styles of games: the track-focused Forza Motorsport series and the open-world Forza Horizon series.
