Dragon Ball Super follows the adventures of Goku and his friends after defeating Majin Buu and bringing peace to Earth once again. Goku encounters beings far more powerful and defends the Earth against a powerful, destructive deity. The theme for FB08 is "Gathering of Saiyans" – this is a powerful set full of strong characters! In the spirit of this theme, every leader card in this set is a Saiyan!

As a measure to enhance collectability, “SR★ (SR's Alt-Art Versions)” has been significantly upgraded! These cards are illustrated using brush colouring instead of anime-style art, and also include textured gold foil! Furthermore, the number of SR types continues to increase.
