About This Product:

The 2004 Bathurst 1000 was won by Greg Murphy and Rick Kelly, driving the Kmart Racing Team Holden VY Commodore. Held on 10 October at the famous Mount Panorama Circuit in New South Wales, the victory marked Murphy’s fourth Bathurst win and Kelly’s second, as well as their second win in a row as a driver pairing.

Although Murphy didn’t repeat his famous 2003 “Lap of the Gods” shootout performance, the pair still started the 2004 race from a very respectable fourth on the grid. From there, they managed to push throughout the 161 laps, leading 100 in total, maintaining strong pace and consistency to see the chequered flag first.

The triumph further cemented their place in Bathurst history and added to Holden’s dominance at the iconic endurance race, with their sixth consecutive win at Bathurst at the time.

This two sided gold plated metal and enamel medallion features an image of the winning Holden VY Commodore presented with year, car and driver details and three legendary words included in the design on the rear of the medallion that every Holden fan loves to see - Holden Wins Bathurst.

The medallion measures a large 100mm in diameter and 4mm thick and comes presented in an even bigger clear acrylic display stand which not only protects the medallion from dust and scratches, but also acts as the perfect way to display this collectors item.
