Citroen C3 WRC. 2017 Finland Rally, driven by Craig Green & Scott Martin. Made by Belkits, scale 1/24 plastic kitset.

Belkit brings us a completely new-mold model kit of the Citroen C3WRC! The powerful style of this car's WRC specifications, such as the front and rear fenders with over fenders and the large rear wing, are realistically modeled. The cockpit surrounded by the chassis underside, suspension and roll bare are finished with a sense of density. The suspension and tires reproduce the gravel specifications unique to the Finnish Rally. Photo-etched parts are included for details such as the brake discs, metal stamping parts to reproduce the fins on the front of the body, and metal pin parts that support the mounting of the auxiliary lights for the night stage. Masking stickers, carbon decals by Cartograf and seat belts are also included, as are decals to reproduce the markings of the machine driven by Craig Green, who finished fifth in the ninth round of the 2017 WRC Finland Rally. In 1987, the FIA (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile) revised its regulations in order to stop F1 machines from overheating in competition. In 1989, it was announced that they would ban the use of turbo engines, placing strict restrictions on the turbo engines that had been the mainstream until then. For this reason, while may teams adopted naturally aspirated engines in the 1988 F1 World Championship, McLaren Honda introduced the MP4/4 equipped with a turbo engine called RA168E that did not conflict with the restrictions.
